(Leaving J.Gandolfini out of this to r.i.p) So to those who watched the series, is it a yea or a nae. Killed or left to return to his life as a varsity athlete? God if I ever meet the writer t'will be him gettin whacked ... with my wooden spoon.

The ginger cat has significance.
When Christopher dies a ginger cat is seen staring at a picture of him in Tony's office / store. This is meant to symbolise Adriana who was obviously earlier "whacked" herself.

Above Tony's head in the restaurant is a picture of a tiger (or a big ginger cat!) and represents Adriana's almost karmic influence over Tony's death
