Average points at your current club provided you have managed them for at least 45 matches.

I've been competing in division 2 for God knows how long, hence the low ppg. Looks like I'm stuck with Udinese again ha

I'm not sure if this is the fairest method anymore. I mean, I think Redzers average is being pushed a lot higher due to him taking over Hanover when they were in the division of losers, and hence romping home to victory.

That said though, he also won the cup (or shield) with them so maybe that pushed it up a lot as well as he would have received a fair few five points from those cup matches due to playing and beating better opposition.


No system is with out it's faults though I suppose.

Maybe do something like your total points multiplied by the average.

When was the change away from the sole manager ranking criterion made? The last big job that came up at Fiorentina seems to have been made just on manager ranking.

The Udinese manager has applied for a few big clubs previously and got bypassed as managers with better rankings beat him to it. Now when he has the best ranking he is bypassed again, very unfair on the lad.
I flicked back thru the thread and can see a few suggestions about changing the system but no vote or any agreement made. Was this done in the main thread? I have a vague recollection of GT suggesting the process that you are running with now but can't remember a vote although I'm very open to correction on that and you could well flick up a poll now and show that I voted for the change!!!

Just wondering is all and it will make things clearer for future jobs.

To be honest, the Fiorentina one wasn't necessarily offered out properly largely, if not entirely, due to the fact that I was in Munich at the time. :cool::pac::)

TBH, I just assumed it was official. If it's not then the manager rankings are in the table anyway so we can go back to those. It doesn't bother me either way really.
