I may be on my own with this one, but I'm loving the current Meteor Christmas ads.

Didn't want to start a new thread seeing as we have this one but has anyone seen the new SoMoneySupermarket advert?
OH MY GOD IT IS GLORIOUS!
I saw it 20 minutes ago and I'm still laughing my ass off. It's doubly funny if you initially mistake the guy for Vladimir Putin!
    Anyways, enjoy!

I love all those Money Supermarket ads a particular favourites being the dad going on the space shuttle and the guy in the invisible car with snoop dogg at the end "Your so money supermarket you dont even know it" and those booking.com ads "look at the beach, look at the booking beach" "booking.com, booking.yeah"

I love the little boy in the seat ads. Where he is promised an icecream when they stop for petrol. His expressions are adorable.

Both the 'Clash of Clans' & 'Boom Beach' ads are pretty good.

Them Clash of clans and Boom beach ads are the best ads on tv at the moment "Good attacking Johnson" and the barbarian "ah skeletons" just briliant

This one for ebs always makes me laugh. "It's five o'clock! And I'm off on me holliers"

    "Eh, down there for dancin'"

    Great performance by your man.

Despite not being a fan of the brand, I remember this ad from years ago was a great ad, although this being the Australian version, it seems like the music is not how I remember it from Irish TV screens years ago

The ebuyers ad with the two action figures seeing who can hold more paper. Anyone seen it?

The new Denny's ad with the mammy getting all emotional at her daughter returning from out foreign with her baby.

I found myself with a lump in my throat the first time I saw it, and I don't know whether it was because I was hungover and the sausages featured in the ad looked scrumptious, or because those ads tend to strike a chord with me anyway

Probably not mainstream enough yet, but Sky aired an absolute doozie of an ad earlier as part of their golf coverage:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdhWhgA8Y0A

Not since Monty the Penguin have I felt so many feels during an ad. Beautiful

Why have Andrex ads become so bad in recent years?

Computer-generated puppies, naked men (I'm not kidding), five-year-olds being asked how clean they feel after going to the loo... :(:(:(:(

So here's an ad from happier times. :):)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,694 ✭✭✭An Riabhach

I know this ad is gettin a lotta hate on the Despise thread but I actually think tis funny.

The one where the mother embarrasses the daughter by tryin to act like a teen queen:
"Hey Abs,check out this new hotspot where all us cool kids go called the kitchen, and all the cool kids call it 'THE KITCH'....I can get you a +1...and maybe you could even bring your brother??"

Siúl leat, siúl leat, le dóchas i do chroí, is ní shiúlfaidh tú i d'aonar go deo.

I've only seen it a few times but my favourite at the moment is the VW ad with Joe Schmidt.

That kid at the end makes me laugh every time.

These Specsaver ads still mke me laugh when I see them-
The one where the farmer shears the dog instead of the sheep, and especially the one with the dancer mistakenly goin into the old folks bingo club:
    "Here we go....
    GET THOSE LEGS UP!!
SHAKE WHAT YOUR MOTHER GAVE YOU!!" :-):-):-)

I think they've slightly shortened that one or maybe tis just me imagination.

Siúl leat, siúl leat, le dóchas i do chroí, is ní shiúlfaidh tú i d'aonar go deo.

"What sort of cheese was that?" is my favourite. Closely followed by the turkey at Christmas one.

Whoever wrote/concieved that series of ads deserves all the awards they can fit on their mantlepiece :D

I have to give credit where it's due in relation to the "What sort of cheese was that?" It's a great advert :)

I didn't like this one at first but now I grin whenever I see it...
The ad for Cheestrings where the kids are all out hiking and they're singin the marching song:

"I've got cheese for a head"
    "I've got ch..ee......"

Siúl leat, siúl leat, le dóchas i do chroí, is ní shiúlfaidh tú i d'aonar go deo.
