Team needs refreshing and it seems cash is getting me nowhere so I might be willing to let Coentrao go but seeing as this thread is almost done I'm probably better off waiting

I want to improve my team so 2 young 89 or over will get you Fabio, anything less I'll just keep him

Can also do Coentrao plus cash for a high rated LW or RW 92 or over

fearing he might leave swansea after them sacking laudrup?

So...... Let me get this straight.......

Reggie sold players and left Genoa and there is uproar....

    Yet.....

Someone can put their name down for another job & put in a bid for same mentioned player whist at their current club????

No doubt I will once again be cast as the villain in all of this but the hypocracy and double standards is killing this place.....

At least I've never denied my actions & stood over them, more than others can say

EDIT: should this not be added to the charter.... I.e. if your leaving don't bid for other players, thought it would have been obvious but apparently not

Just one comment on this ... there is a fair point in here, if you arent allowed to sell prior to leaving the same should go for buying before you leave a club, you could do someone a favor and over pay for a rubbish player, leaving the club you leave without cash.

Not saying this is the case here as the player in question sure aint rubbish but it something we need to look at adding to the charter for sure.

i think all your frenchies thought that some dude called Depardieu was the manager when they where being sold on signing.

and no not this fella who pisses on planes in front of people

I'm only seeing that from Tupac because you quoted it, I just want to say I agree. If you can't sell before leaving you shouldn't be buying either

I'm keeping my nose clean so that's the last you'll hear from me on it :)

I agree that you shouldn't sell players before you leave a club but what is that time limit? And no one can predict when someone else leaves so do we say any deals that you have ongoing after you apply should be cancelled?

Seaneh has pointed out a couple of valid points to me over on SM regarding this issue :
Can you point out that a manager is in charge of a club right up until his application for another job is successful. Making a rule that managers can't bid on players while applying for other jobs is stupid.

    Furthermore,
I have no idea if I will get the malaga job, there is still 12 hours before the deadline, anyone could apply between now and then. Why should I drop all my plans for Benfica if I could very well be staying here?

TBH, I think the second one is a very valid point, but that's just me.

But, so far, I definitely think eireanBEAR has the strongest argument!! :D:D

I think it needs to be put into the charter that people should try their best to not take the game so seriously!! :D :P
