Dublin bus AV's

    Obviously Dublin bus have withdrawn a number of their AV buses(2000).
    Out of interest, How many and have they replaced them with the new GT's ?

    The delivery of the new GTs has only just started.

    You'll have to wait until the end to find out what is going where in terms of cascades and withdrawals. That will take a month or two yet.

    In terms of 2000 AVs that have gone or are going, it's up to AV185..

    AV List originally for sale last year:
    1, 3, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 54, 55, 56, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 103, 104, 106, 120, 122, 125, 126, 162, 164, 165.

    Nearly all of these are withdrawn, sold in UK or elsewhere. AV11, AV17, AV93, AV96, AV98, AV103 and AV104 are definitely still in service. AV97 I think might be still around, I have certainly been on it since the others have moved to other shores.

    Second list supposedly for sale:
    2, 4-12, 18, 21, 25, 28, 31, 33-36, 59, 69, 71, 72, 74, 76, 83, 84, 88, 99-102, 105, 109-115, 119, 121, 123, 124, 127-138, 147-149, 156 and 185.

    All of these are still in service. It looks like every 2000 AV that doesn't have an LED display is going. Exceptions are AV20 and AV107.
