So, apparently SOE are showing off Everquest Next this weekend, and it's supposed to be the **** according to MMORPG who voted it their best in show at E3, even though they couldn't say anything about it. So, anyone excited about this? Or are we all so jaded with new mmo's that we'll all play for a month and then go back…

Landmark is the engine Everquest Next is being built in (their original claim was anything possible to script in EQ Next you'd be able to do in Landmark) and the idea is that parts from Landmark may appear over time in EQ Next as well. Basically Landmark will be were a lot of the content for Next is most likely going to come from as well as it's player generated (i.e. free).
