was out this morning for a few crows where a farmers barley was decimated by the crows, half the field was flattened, i had 48 mixed corvids and 2 pigeons for 56 shots, couldn't believe how good i was shooting and the ones i missed were just chancing my arm, think i would have need a heat seeking missile to get them they were that far up!!!! can well and truly say i've settled in with the new beretta 686, have it 1 1/2 year now and that was by far my best shooting, hope to get back out on the barley during the week but have to see how work goes!!

Some nice shooting. The pigeons and crows are hitting it hard this last couple of weeks. Met a farmer yesterday, have permission on his land, and he was asking us to spend more time on the land as he is getting fleeced.

Was out today and although i got soaked twice (heavy thunderous downpours) i still got in about 25 or so of them.

Keep up the shooting, and wait another week of two then you'll be flat out.

thanks lads, as for the pics well my head was a little fried from a wedding on fri so the phone went dead, forgot the milk foe the tea and even if i had it forgot the mug!!! and flask had no lid!!! but the shooting made up for it!
personal best for actual bag only shooting crows since last year and prob my pb for hits/shots, haven't missed a pheasant in a while and had 8 black and white for 8 shots last year but as this was definetely best day for crows anyway.
pure depressed now sitting at the desk in work knowing i could be out in the field :-(
