Boyds do stocks to suit the marlin 917 models. Ive being thinking of getting on myself but I keep liking the laminate grey stock thats already on it.

130euros ish to delivered to your door.

have had rifles a long time never had a scratch on them
only once did i ever do damage and that was chasing a red hind... caught my stock on barb wire
still feel sick to this daywhen i see the scratch... oneshotonekill was with me when i did it shot two in the herd...
for someone to crack a synthetic stock it took a hammering so how else did the treat the rifle in general

    be weary

That was a good days hunting. Not far off more.
I Remember your face when you scratched it alright.

Get it done lad Its a same to see a gun broke up. You might even be surprised it might shoot that bit better when its done.

I went on to body's gunstocks.com and emailed him and he told me it would be over a grand for a tiger striped gloss one wit no thumb hole or Notting it would leave too much of a hole in my pocket so it will have to do for now :(

    A grand?

Jesus, Enda Walsh could build you a serious bespoke stock for that. Are you sure you got the price right?

Thats a bit mental. why not go for something in their hunter line for 10 times less. they have about 8 different colours.
