Is it legal to use a bird of prey decoy?
I can't find it on the charter if its illegal or legal.

As pigeon, duck & geese decoys are the only ones permitted under the Wildlife Acts I assume all others are illegal.

    (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act apart from this section, but subject to section 42, a person shall not—

    (c) use a stuffed or artificial decoy in the form of any bird for the purpose of hunting any protected wild birds, other than wood pigeons, wild duck and wild geese,

Thanks for that. I was just curious as I've seen loads of vids of lads using them and was watching one yesterday on a lad up the north using them

We can shoot crows and magpies etc under general licence. In it, it refers to section six of the wildlife act, in there I can't see any reference to not using decoys for them?
I wonder is down south something similar?

The only corvids we've really even getting are magpies and jacks.
And I've heard that this is a great way to get the bigger lads like rooks and greys. Plus vids I've seen shows it works.
