As a veteran of the heat from living in a hot country almost 4 years, I'd like to provide my fellow country men and women with some top tips to keep cool under the sun (;)).


For the ladies:

Take the cushiony bits that are there to make your boobs look bigger than they are out of your bras and replace them with ice. You'll have Baltic Boobs in no time!



For the boys:


Put some ice in a condom and put on your member. Chilly willy ahoy!

Put your fake beard in the freezer for a couple of hours before putting it on to keep your lower face cold.

Set the oven to cold and leave the door open.

I do set my hair dryer to cold and give myself a blow to cool down

blankets are insulators,they regenerate the heat between the bed and you and the isolate you from the cool air outside.

Better still empty your freezer at home of all that crap and sit into it ... Maybe even fill it with water first ... Ice cool!

Keep a small plant sprayer full of water in the fridge. Spritz yourself liberally and stand in front of the fan, cooling yourself by evaporation.

I forgot to wash a pair of light pants for work yesterday, so I took a chance and washed them and they were still wet with about an hour to go before I was due in. Hung them on the line for about 20 minutes and then put them on, still damp but not dripping wet. Essentially my tip is to wear wet clothes, sure they dry on you in no time and keep you cool all afternoon.

It's sad how often I've had to do that. It really sucks in winter!

I soak a towel squeeze it out and put it in freezer for a while , take it out and lie on it

When you sleep and providing you sleep on your side, put the sheet between your thighs. Actually works believe it or not. Mind you I like the heat so I'm lovin this weather.

if its hot outside, the air. dont open the windows house will usually be cooler in summer so dont let the warm air inside where possible. or until much later if you do for the evenings

Met Eireann has issued a new heat alert for Ireland.
The weather service says the next few days will see temperatures reach up to thirty degrees.
Temperatures will reach values between 27 and 30 degrees in many areas for the next two days.
Nights will be warm and humid as well.
The status yellow alert is in place until Sunday.
Local authorities around the country are also asking people to conserve water.
In Donegal, water restrictions are in place in the Stranorlar and Glenties Electoral Areas due to a reduced water supply.
People are asked to avoid using hospipes on gardens, paddling pools, or car washing where possible as the dry spell continues.
