    No, it simply does not make sense.

    If a guy starts of driving a Ford and eventually upgrades to a luxury car the difference is vast. To imply the same occurs when purchasing a mac is erroneous.
    Macs are fantastic machines, Apple do their best to convince everyone the difference is huge. Unfortunately the difference is not Porsches 911 but instead more like upgrading from a Kia to a Ford

    No-one makes bad cars any more......some just prefer to pay a lot more for theirs. They all only get you from a to b in the end.
    Me.....I prefer motorbikes any day. Are we drifting off topic here?
