    Trim yes. I do the odd time. Bush is a bit unruly. But shaving, hell no. Did it when I was younger.... The pain, the pain!!

    Why would guys want to shave, I was recently on holiday with other guys and sharing a room and bathroom shower facilities I noticed that a number of them were shaven but I did not like to ask the question but now that I see this here I'm asking!

    IMO trimming is fine as caveman bush can get fairly horrible looking but shaving? Your balls and hole? Seriously?

    Jesus. I just read this entire thread through. This whole issue just has me scratching my head.

    Gentlemen; I'm an older man. Grandfather level. But, I still wouldn't say I'm Old. I'm just putting that in to lend some context.

    Decades ago, I got shaved, a few times. Complete job. Babies bum, all over. I believe even the legs went, once or twice. This done by someone else, wielding a safety razor and badger brush.

    Why? Never mind. Result? Never a care. I never, ever, suffered any itching. Nor did I when I used to shave my face, by what ever means. Honestly; I'd almost wonder if this 'shaving itch' wasn't psychosomatic. Obviously, some get it. Some don't.


    Regarding this modern day 'normalisation' of shaving? GTF! I spoke to a young lad about this, in the pub. He was as dumbfounded by my Not getting it as I was , by his insistence on doing it.

    " But, if ye not shaved, " he exclaimed, " The chic won't suck ye balls! "

    What?!?!

    Nodding vehemently, he insisted that This was the thing. I don't want to even think then, why a heterosexual man might want to shave his ring piece. Just No.

    I've also read how this is all down to the youngsters, today, viewing so much porn, on line. They've basically shaped their whole concept of sexuality on modern porn?

    When I watched porn? It was all about a tradesman with a tache and orange skin turning up to fix an appliance. Horrible music ensued and the appliance never got seen.

    But, he was never shaved and she never sucked his balls!

    What in hell has happened in the last thirty years ....?

    Spent a good hour yesterday shaving down there - hardest was my poop hole - had to be done as I was using a roll of bogroll a sitting and dangleberriies were rife! Lol

    Reccently I've been going completely bald save for a small Hitler moustache at base of shaft - as mentioned above, Missus loves it, makes it look much bigger, and we expect them to shave, so why shouldnt we?

    Just out of interest, does any else moisurize down there after they shave it or is it just me?

    Maybe thats why I get zero irritation/rashes/itchiness afterwards :D

    I do it every 6 weeks under the armpits and pubic, using shaving razor, no hassle . Sex is much better after that
