Nissan Primastar Injector STUCK!!!

HI. The injector on my nissan primastar is stuck. Can't get it out. It will turn with effort but not coming up. Been trying everything, a slide hammer, a sledge.... Any body got any ideas. Have soaked overnight in wd40.. etc.. In serious trouble.. Thanks.

HI.

Any body got any ideas. Have soaked overnight in wd40.. etc..

If a slide hammer won't bring it then you need to get professional help IMO.

Agreed, this is possibly a specialist job. One injector in particular - can't remember if its 1 or 4 - is supposed to be complete pig to get out. If you go at it too hard then the likelihood is that it will break and that means cylinder head off. The Renault and Opel variants of this van are similarly afflicted.

The link below will give you some idea of what you may be up against, although if it's moving at all i'd say you have a chance.

If you give your location someone may be able to point you in the direction of a specialist reasonably near you with the necessary gear.

George's link show's the Pichler tool which is supposed to be the bee's knees for this. I'd say most diesel specialists would have it.
