Im getting poor coverage from Newcastle so taking that out, also Bray ATC very weak this year.

Sorry guys I have very dissapointing coverage this year, even with the new antenna I cant beat the Wicklow Mountains. Its strange as last time I listened to this show back in 2011 it was all loud and clear

If the show runs for next year I will locate the feed at work in Dunlaoire.

I am out at the show with a handheld scanner and the reception is a bit spotty. I am guessing they are not using much power on the transmitter.

Totally agree that Weston is a great frequency, much prefer to listen to that, bit more action and 'f*ck ups'.. Everybody likes a good F up! While EIDW is good and the feed quality is perfect, it gets a bit boring listening to 'line up and wait' 'direct lapmo' 'descend FL010'.

I will see how the reception is for EIWT at home and if it is OK I will set up a separate feed for it.

That would be brilliant. If i could set up Weston i would, but unfortunately even tho im only 8nm out, i can pick up weston with equipment that i have.

I have a spare scanner lying here if someone can advise me on splitting the D-777 antenna signal into it without losing quality i'd be happy to stick up a separate Weston feed.

Yep.. Not listening to the feed but watching on flight radar... Looked like he abandoned and around 1800 ft. I'm a mile and a half directly from the runway and looking out I can usually see either approach weather depending... Some weather the last 30 minutes...
