Not a hope you will get a launch day release, you must of got someone new, they are not offering them to people after the 20th of July, have a chat to the manager who is a good guy and knows his stuff, I have seen the list and you have jumped a lot of people.

You pay the 20 euro to keep your place as they cannot cancel your original preorder, so your gonna be behind everyone who ordered before you on the list, also your a day off having to wait till the end of January to get one.

No, their systems are so useless they cannot update online orders so they are just being lazy and not bothered to find another method to give online customers the same service as in store customers! :mad:

Going by this thread, the most popular bundle by a mile seems to be Killzone+Camera+Controller for €500. At least there'll be plenty playing Killzone online on release day

Ordered 22 of August with Amazon. Got two emails off them yesterday. The first one giving me an estimated delivery date of 29th or 30th of Nov (which I'm delighted about!), the second offering me a choice of bundles.

Opted for the Watch Dogs bundle. Can't wait now. Had to pay extra for the fastest shipping (didn't use Parcel Motel because I'd really like it day one), but I've vouchers which should balance the cost of delivery & another game.

I've stopped dealing with Gamestop for the last 3 years or so. They are always the most expensive for new games, offer pretty terrible trade in prices (trade in with CEX), and looks like they have screwed over online customers through their own laziness. Not to mention that they charged people €5 extra for GTA (said it would be 60 when people pre-ordered, and charged they 65 on the night!). A horrible place to deal with.

I thought the cut off for getting launch day consoles was before August 22nd? but happy days for you mate.

Amazon are actually working out quite dear. The killzone with extra controller & camera bundle is £449 which comes to €528 at current rates, on top of that bank of ireland charge me for every purchase i make in sterling so its 1% charge i think so thats another fiver. It seems to be €500 over here for that bundle (if you're lucky enough to get one on launch day).

Just walked into Harvey Normans and ordered kill zone bundle for a mate 439 one , 100% for launch day.

If you were to just order PS on its own you won't get before Xmas

Well went back into Gamestop Henry Street last night to see if the story has changed but still getting the we are contacting people who pre-ordered.

Pre-ordered back in early June and freaking out every time the mobile rings :eek:

It was August 6th according to their site when I placed my pre-order. I've seen a few others post in here that they have an estimated day one delivery after that cut off point too.

They must have gotten good indications from Sony about supply and can guarantee a lot more day one orders now. Happy out with that, anyways.

I pre ordered early in June and went a few weeks ago and I asked would be getting he said I was 120th in the list.So there was no way I getting one at launch.I am getting one out of HN

Was for a friend who had not pre ordered anything , I have mine pre ordered in Smyths .

Girl in the shop said that 439 bundle is the only one they have available at the moment that will be ready for launch day , everything else may not be before Xmas

As far as I remember when I signed up I was around 32, this was back in August though. She couldn't say how many consoles they were getting in, just that I am sorted.

How are Harvey Normans guranteeing a console on launch if only pre-ordering now. Especially with other places having cut off dates going back to July/August. They must be getting in a load of consoles.

or very few pre-orders. or a combination of both to some degree.

ordered mine today, paid in full (for Killzone bundle). Guaranteed to have it by launch.

Its only this specific bundle, for instance if I just wanted a console on its own (which I did) then i'd be waiting until after xmas.

Hard to believe but its true. Take a look at their site, all options are listed as "out of Stock" with the exception of the Killzone Bundle for €439.00

Called into gamestop on william st limerick today, they have 3 bundles(Killzone, watchdogs and Killzone mega) They're working through the list with phonecalls and are only on number 5 so far..

I confirmed my "bundle" ... Just getting the console as ive no interest in killzone or bioshock.

Im 35 on the list and the girl confirmed theyll be getting 60 in the first batch so im pretty safe.

They probably get more still early so that increase by how much is a guess.

That's what the girl at Smyths implied. That's why they are asking people to bfirm which bundles they want, so that they can order the right amount of stock
