PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

Not fussed about getting one launch day just hoping to get one before christmas.

Any hope of that if I preorder now?

I am very friendly with my local gamestop, all workers and manager knows me very well. We dont even talk as customer/salesman anymore, we talk as gamers, mess around etc. Telling something simple like how many preorders they got and what will they have to do if they got not enough Consoles is not a top secret info at all. More of a common sense in my eyes: "we got 150 consoles preordered, but got only 75 to sale. What do we do?! right, we do a talent show, the best acts will get PS4/xbox one on launch" GO GO GO!" :pac:

Have mine fully paid off now, however I don't think I will be able to get it on launch day. I am moving home and going back to college, don't think I will cancel it but I may sell the preorder soon or be a ruthless bastard and wait for them to sell out at launch then charge a ransom for it, damn I am a robbing bandit(bastard more like).

I seen on a ad last night at bout 3a.m that the ps vita+mega pack for 169 which is a 8gb memroy card and 10games. I didnt say € or £ though. So I think at gamescom there might be a €500 bundle everyone is hoping to come out.

We might get a release date after the Germany, UK and Japan shows. They have covered most of the PS4 so its really only the release date left to announce.

There are more exclusives to be announced at Gamescom too. Germany is the big one and I'd be amazed if they don't give at date by then.

It's 169 pounds, I just bought it off Amazon nice little deal and if you have PS+ loads of free games to download. Just a pity the cost of 32gb memory is so expensive (€65). I do believe their will be a PS4 & Vita Bundle but due to PS4 demand I don't see it happening until sometime next year, and I want my PS4 asap

Me too i just count down the days till gamescom to see what date it will be released. Has anyone pre-ordered in smyths in swords, Dublin and do they know if they will be haven a midnight sale.

Same with me on Call Of Duty Ghosts, I'll be buying it on PS3 and then re-buying it on PS4 if the console doesn't release until December.

There isn't going to be PES 2014 on a next gen console. They didn't want to bollix it up because they wouldn't be up to speed on the new tech.

more on PES skipping next-gen this year for you. afraid of releasing a muck PES as they did at the start of Xbox360 cycle, and think sales will be low on next-gen this year due to install base

PES 6 was a hell of a lot better than 2008 onwards(although it was lacking in features iirc), 2014 looks like its made up serious ground though.

I have always thought the same. The online side of PES 6 was amazing. Totally lag free for me. I've barely gone online since then as each game after was much worse in terms of lag.

it was, but i still traded PES 6 fairly quickly. it was around this time i made the sinful (atthe time) move to FIFA and to be fair FIFA has outshone PES on this generation. maybe by waiting Konami are doing the right thing this time, smaller team than EA and all that. i would still rate some of the PESs, on PS2, as the best footie games i've ever played. you could do most things with the ball and goals rarely repeated themselves.

hope this gen can get rid of that limited feel to footie games when it comes to creating, or scoring, chances.

I play both current PES and FIFA on the PS3, I can't understand all the love for fifa tbh. PES had some bad games, but at the moment it's better than FIFA imho.
FIFA has better game modes and is better online though. PES was better online on the PS2! Every year the online play gets worse.

Totally agree! I love both and they have both come on strides but for all PES lack of polish it gives the rawest experience of football around!

After seeing the GTA online video I'm sold. Depending on the PS4 launch date I might have to consider postponing my PS4 purchase for a while to play it.

one good thing....if you buy a season pass or any ghosts dlc on the ps3 it carries over to the ps4, same as xbox

It's up in the air, depending on the launch date it could be before or after, the closer the release date is to December, the less chance you will have of getting it this year.

I may as well pop in. Not in a terrible rush but would be nice to have it nonetheless, even if I'll most likely be too busy to jump on it.
