That was my fathers car from new. Nice machine but I'd say it's well past its best at this stage.

The trade clearance bit would have worried.

Excuse my ignorance but what does "trade clearance price" mean?

Used when selling cars to other dealers with no warranty, usually used by chancer dealers to imply no warranty, despite them being obliged to adhere to the basic sale of goods policies when selling to a private party, unlike private sellers

Buy it as you see it and don't come back to us tomorrow if there is an issue with it. Usually these type of sales only take place between motor dealers/traders who are supposed to know what they are buying and are not protected by the sale of goods act like regular joe public.

To be fair to the lads selling it Bazz, I would imagine it is in good enough nick and may be chancey enough. CMC wouldn't be like the usual Limerick Ballysimon road outfits.

Yep, I know they are around along time and not fly by night chancers. My last comment was really more a general one about trade sales. I'd say that LS is being aimed at the motor trade rather than joe public.

It's the cheapest one on DD but still overpriced imo as is all of them! I taxed mine for a year last week so I won't be buying it!

Hi all. Big Citroen man here. Have had XMs and CXs so slightly more tolerant of quirks and glitches than most. Saying that would like to avoid astronomical bills.

I’ve had my beady eye on the aforementioned C6 and was considering a trip to Limerick. There seems to be a bit of knowledge about this car. Could anybody enlighten me as to any issues it may have had? If for sale at 2k in the past in Bill Griffins implies something odd.

Please PM me if that is more appropriate to this forum

What would a reasonable equipped one come with?

    navigation, heated seats, xenons,

aside from the droppable rear headrests that centre switch stack is bare and the audio 20 is the lowest stereo there was.
