    Mafia Staff Car.

It's a taxi. That's the only way I'll ever see those yokes.

Bill Griffen sold one of these recently for less than 2K

Now bearing in mind, a drive shaft or something serious was wrong with it and needed a couple of grand to fix.

Can't remember exactly but was a Serious issue

I don't think so, they seem to hold their value well when they hit that €5-6K mark. Has a long enough NCT as well and the best colour combo IMO, though the rare Mauritius Blue is the nicest one IMO.

    They look ridiculously comfortable.

probably swapped back and fourth some times to avoid paying back tax, although it is 12 years old,
I’d hazard a guess that might be some tax arrears dodging.

How does that work? I mean if say husband "sells" car to wife/girlfriend at the same address surely the tax office knows something is off but can they actually do anything?

Not really. Transfer of ownership rather than a sale, so nobody needs to ‘sell’ the car.

    Not much. Nothing at all.

Friend of mine was out of work for a year and had the car on the driveway all that time.

He has asked me to buy it for a week and bought it back as soon as I received the logbook. No issues at all and 700 euro saved.

    Hence my use of " " :)

    Cheers.

I love those C6's and if I won the lotto I'd buy one. But it'd have to be petrol, rare enough apparently.

Any C6 diesel from that era I've heard starting up sounded really agricultural.

Even the V6 like that one? I find them very interesting - they do hark back to the big old Citroen cruisers, and the brand has always been quirky / interesting to me.
But an old Citroen, that I don't have much knowledge of, with hard to find spares... personally I'd be very very wary. I'm afraid it could turn into a horrible liability. But maybe that's just me being ignorant about the car?

Ah Tea Drinker I wouldn't be that aware of what exact engine was in the particular C6's I've heard starting up and driving away just that it was a C6 and was definitely diesel.

Something lovely about them. Like I said it'd be a lotto win buy for me.

    Diesels were all a v6 I think. A 2.7 and a 3.0 bi turbo v6

They dropped the petrol after a couple of years in RHD due to poor sales, i think the last few months of LHD were all diesel as well.

The price is in the ad, it's 5,295. I know how much the car is, I've posted about it which (i think) would mean I've read the ad and the price. The price is in the actual ad and post I've quoted!?

Pretty sure he meant a 5k car shouldn't be out of your reach unless you win the lotto. Then again some people are happy as they are and don't see the need for extravagance.

Not to drag thread too off topic. I'd happily and have and will spend a lot more money than that on a car. A C6 and the headache it could cost if relying on it for a daily wouldn't be my thing. If I won the lotto and had a place big enough to park it and not care and pockets deep enough to run it and not care then it'd be 1st on my forecourt.

But the post I quoted was suggesting I didn't know how much they cost even though the price is clearly in the ad and I therefore clearly know how much they can cost.

I'm considering changing the 530i for an A8 at the moment, saw that listed and feel that it's too expensive tbh. Market for these cars is fairly non-existant and it's high mileage.

What 530i do you have? Potentially in the market for one

That A8 interior at night is glorious.

I'm a big fan of interiors. Daytime grey leather is cak though.
