    Good game, great 1st half, rain changed it in the 2nd half.

    Just checking what player Barnes is watching.

    How anybody could say he's ahead of SOB and Tipuric for 7 on this performance is deluded. Although it is his first run out in a largely 2nd string side.

    First real game for the Lions, is really good for them to have things to work on.

    Thought Lions tight 5 were poor outside of the set piece made it difficult without a platform to build on

    He played with a much better and much fresher tight 5 and against a tired opposition. Can't compare them. Any openside would have struggled in the first half for the Lions, you can't spend your time filling in for ineffective locks and props and hope to make any sort of difference at the breakdown as an openside.

    If poor Tommy is out injured, i'd really hope to see either Kearney or Hogg play full back in the 1st Test with a wing combo of North-Halfpenny. At the end of the day, Cuthbert has not dont himself any favours today and Halfpenny has years of wing experience. Plus his kicking is clearly class.

    Should be noted that Lions had a flawless kicking performance from some tough angles and Reds missed 5 straightforward points, real let off today. Hope we see 6. SOB 7. Tipuric 8. Heaslip for the next match. Think we'll see that in at least one of the tests.
