Our biggest fear is not that we are inadequate
Our biggest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small doesn't serve the world
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us
And as we let our own light shine
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

Daddy long legs (blind bastards) and moths (pricks). Had a fooking ginormous one in the bathroom the other night and got me fella to get rid of it (cos that's the sole purpose of men on this Earth, you see). Turns out he's a big pansy as well so there was the two of us flapping around the apartment screeching hysterically like a pair of overgrown little girls. My palms are getting sweaty just thinking about it. :(

    Daddy long legs aren't blind!

There's no way they could come after me with such unwavering accuracy if they were. They're like guided missiles :(

Falling into a fast flowing deep river.
    Being burned alive.
    Becoming paralyzed, and/or mute.
    Growing old and becoming incontinent.

Basically, I fear death the most.

Being completely paralyzed yet conscious and being kept alive. I'd rather be burnt alive.

    Getting injured (run long distances).
Not being able to look after myself.

Bear Grylls catching me, killing me, then taking a bite out of me as he tells the audience that I don't need to be cooked and can be eaten just as I am.

For me, my fears would mostly fall into the categories of loss, suffering and death.
Given my status as a human, frankly Im fcked.

In the meantime theres still time to be narcissistic, pedantic, selfish, stubborn, childish and ill tempered.

Which is why we have boards.

Vague Factoid - in one of those old centuries, lets pick the 18th or there abouts, people were being burned at the stake in whats now St.Stephens green.

    For menial crimes too.

I think all of us will say losing a loved one, except yer man who wishes his parents were dead, but besides that, what else do you fear ?

For me it's going bald

I've accepted the going bald bit so that's one less thing for me to fear but personally it would be dying.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
