Anyone interested in some Taito stools from Ronnie? Just about to pop off an email to him and thought it might be a good idea to save on shipping.

Yeah I'm interested but condition is just as important as price. If they need the sort of effort Andrew put into it then its not for me!

I'm interested too but I'd share the same note as TechnoFreek. If they work out cheap then I'm cool with the refurb work.
I'd be interested in 2~4 of them, 2 for me and maybe (depending on price) 2 for the work arcade cab.

Are they firm, soft or loose stools?
I ask purely in professional terms of course...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...

The stools themselves were €60 each the last time I checked. That's actually a really good price for them and ordering directly yourself would cost a fortune.

I'm working from the standpoint that they'll all need to be refurbished like Andrew76's ones - so if you're looking for minty ones, this might not be for you! :(

I'll leave this up for a few days and then check with Ronnie to see what the postage would be like.

Sure stcik a mail into Ronnie asking for ten of his finest stools. 5 people by two stools each is not unreasonable.

See what he comes back with!

I'll need to put this on hiatus for a month as I've had an unexpected expense come up. Will still get in contact with Ronnie though to see what costs etc would work out as.

    I wish! :(

Turns out the holiday we want to book has to be paid for tomorrow.

There go the rest of my nice GETS! for this month. Was also looking into picking up some of those PGM Cave conversion carts.

Ah well at least you'll have a holiday!
I had my hours cut in work last friday.
No work on fridays for at least 3 months, will be out of pocket but will have some spare time.
Ive a few quid put away for a cab so that will prob be my last big get for a while.
Might have a naomi with a compact flash setup lined up :D

Ah yeah I know, I'm a moany sap complaining about going on a holiday :pac:

I always find it just smarts a bit when you think of the cool **** you could be spending it on instead!

You should stick a thread up about those marquees you can make over on AO - should keep you busy on Fridays ;)

Is the Naomi coming from an Irish seller?

Not yet as Technofreek discovered something which may work out better.
Look at these, they're repros, but only 50 each and no extra work is needed on them.

Just waiting to hear what the quality is like over on Arcade Otaku

    Hey Oisin,

The last I read on AO is that the thought they wil refurbs and not repro. If thats the case they should be pretty much the same as what Ronnie has but with cleanup efort already put in a la Andrew.

Very interested to see the reports back on these.

Seems to be. If the guys on AO think they might be originals that's good enough for me.

Going to order two today. Not sure which colours to go with though!

    - Edit: Looks like red and blue are sold out. Balls!!!!

    - Further edit: Ordered two black ones. €128 delivered, bargain.
