johnson engine age

    Hey,can any body help me find out the year my Johnson 5 hp 2 stroke was made, model no bj50renm.got a link on iboats but it doesn't seem to apply to mine. Id say its a 90s engine.

    Hi Nissanzx from what I can make out BJ is Belgium johnson, RE is remote electric or rope/electric, 5.0 hp e=9 n=2 "1992", M is the suffix code.
