    It's pretty bad form to enter everything regardless of your level of interest in it, there's no rule against it though. In theory the site's point system stops people from entering too many giveaways but you gain points so quickly that this isn't going to affect people only entering boards giveaways much.

    I generally just enter the giveaways for stuff I would like to play. There have been more than a few that have made me think "well of course it's being given away"!

    Yeah, entering for stuff you think you might like is the point. Entering for everything just because it's free stuff is taking the piss though.

    As i have ended up sticking up keys, after the realisation that i will never get around to playing alot of these games (most arent second copies). i now only enter stuff that i will realistically get to play down the line! Ive only gotten around to playing 50% of my steam list so i dont see the point in adding another game if i win, which will just sit there unplayed!

    Also thanks to McSasquatch for Doom 3!

    Look at the draws irishoob entered and you will see many of the same names cropping up multiple times. Why didn't they win, but irishoob did? Luck. End of.

    I've only entered a few Boardsie draws so far but that's mostly because I er, sorta, own a lot of the stuff already. The stuff I don't own mostly doesn't interest me. :o Each thing I entered though I don't expect to win. I suspect most of us are the same and for those of us with the less stellar libraries that would mean we'd enter just about every draw going for a game we wanted. The odds on winning are so slim that we don't expect to win everything we enter. However, such is the nature of reality some people will win far more than they expect to and more power to them.

    I agree with Nesf that entering something you only want because it's free is taking the piss. So, I do hope folks are only entering for games they would genuinely like to play. Not just for the sake of it.
