How would you do a come dine with me night?

    What would you do if you were to host a come dine with me night? Using 6 different categories ( but feel free to add more if you like)
    Starter: crispy duck salad
    Main: beef Wellington garlic potatoes veg( my speciality)
    Dessert pavlova
    alcohol copious amounts of wine and beer
    entertainment karaoke ( i would wow with my rendition of 4 non blondes what's goin on)
    Dress code: school uniform

    Starter: deep fried pitta bread with homemade hummus, falafel and stuffed vine leaves.

    Main: An Indian buffet including my specialities of Tandoori Chicken and Saag Aloo. A veg curry, Bombay potatoes, my own version of pilau rice and nan bread.

    Dessert: Chocolate banana bread and butter pudding. A recipe my son and I made up when he was about 12. Its nom.

    Entertainment: Kids party games like pin the tail on the donkey, piñata, musical chairs.

    Coctails and wine or beer.

    All sounds lovely witchie, but it could all be a bit heavy. Deep fried pitta bread, rice in the main, and chocolate and banana bread and butter pudding. I'd burst! Turn the kids party into a disco to work that all off :pac: :)

    Mini dessert platter per person =
    Mini Grand Marnier Creme brulee
    Mini Dark Chocolate Volcano
    Mini Eton Mess

    Dress code, whatever you want(hate forcing people to dress up if they really don't want to)

    Main: Pasta bake with shìte loads of cheese, chicken, chickpeas, red onions, kidney beans, in a thick tomato & garlic sauce.

    Desert: Nothing.................there was banoffee pie but that's for me to eat, nobody else..................you can have a donut or a pack of Tayto Waffles, though.

    You then have 2 minutes to vacate my property before I release the rats.

    Leeks are a good combo, broccoli sounds good but no just stilton is grand.
    Just have to be careful it doesn't get too thick and resemble a cheese sauce... uck.

    Starter: Seared Scallops or Filo pastry covered King Prawns with chilli and lime dip.

    Main Course: Veal chop or Fillet steak cooked to order. (But if you want it well done you can get the fcuk out of my house, I refuse to ruin good meat) Served with roast potatoes, roast parsnips and carrots.

    Dessert: Baileys Creme brulee or chocolate semifreddo.

    Drinks: Bring your own wine and what have you, we only drink whiskey in this house.

    Entertainment: A 5 foot 1 me kicking someone out of the house for wanting well done steak, there might even be guards present..... depends on how much whiskey I drink :p
