Aldi made a mess of their website when they redesigned it.

Stuff only updates literally the date of the last special buy listed on the site, good luck to planning in advance like lidl website

Does anybody else think these beef medallions look a little bit off/discoloured? They normally look a lot different.

Yeah not great looking alright, might have passed on them even if they were €2. Very poor offerings this week.

I've been a great Aldi fan since their first store opened in my area about 15 years ago.

    I don't like the way it's going.

For some reason my local store has started opening checkouts in reverse order. If the shop is quiet, they use till 7 near the main door and open tills in reverse order. Till 1 (by the wall with the mirror) hasn't been opened in over a year. The result is queues blocking access to aisles and impeding movement around the shop. One reason I liked Aldi was the fact that you could move around fast and get in and out quickly.

The most recent changes are moving veg like cauliflower and cabbage, that shouldn't need display refrigeration, to the refrigerated shelves by the wall and moving mushrooms to replace them in the aisle. Mushrooms are often yellowed now.

I've mentioned these points to checkout staff and it's clear that they agree and are unhappy with these and other changes.
It's certainly a less pleasant place to shop than it was 2 years ago.
Maybe these are local management decisions peculiar to my store.

I think last year there was no meat super 6 for christmas week... will have to see what happens this time around.
