Are these two taking the piss or are just reading off a script to put drama into the show..if not they are making themselves out to gob****es

It's TV so I wouldn't rule out the first plan was a p1ss take and they knew all along the roof was in bits. Surely any engineer worth his salt would flag that up walking up to the house.
There's a strong sea breeze all year round and it's an old enough house.

What has the builder done wrong?

Nothing as far as I’m concerned

Builder's done nothing wrong - except hand around.

Hope there was some work for his lads on 2-month break.

He is a right know it all .. I wouldn’t like to be dealing with him on regular basis. And another couple with an endless budget.

? What has the builder done wrong?

Went off site for months and never sought additional money. He had guys on site working who then had to pack up and go home. He had block layers ready to start, make no mistake, they lost money. The builder will make a loss on this and he only had himself to blame. If the client changes impact on tradesmen weekly wage, the client should pay

But only for a bedroom window. I don't get why you would spend so much for it and only have it as a bedroom window.

But they have wall to wall views of the same thing downstairs..

It's not like they lost anything to have it
