Have 66 (-4) and delighted with it. Didn't expect clean sheets from Dawson or Enrique.

Enrique has been a great signing since I brought him in.

Considering I didn't put much effort into stocking up on DGW lads I'm going well so far. Have only 5 left to play with Michu out now: Dawson, Mata, Bale, Lukaku and Tevez.

Everyone has them so not expecting any huge swings. Expected more tbh from people chasing a lead. No point going with the same staple of players as everyone else when your 30 or 40 points behind and time is against you.

77 (-4) with 7 left to play now that michu is out, i also don't expect zabaleta to play so realistically 6 i reckon.

was hoping for a bit more today with my 2 differentials from my rival, Mata and RVP, but overall happy with the gw.

Back up to 13k, planning ahead for the DGW has already paid off. Only 13 points off the top 10k, if ever there was a time for a bit of luck this season it's now. Really need Hazard to play

I took an 8 point hit this week and a 4 point last week to gamble on the DGW. Vertonghen and Hart have already payed off, will have to wait and see if Hazard, Lukaku and Tevez do the same.

De Gea to Hart was such an obvious transfer, surprised more didn't do the same.

    405th.

top 500 worldwide by the end of the season and I'll be delighted.

There's a million or so between the price of the two 'keepers.

25 places inside the top 4k. If I can stay there I'll beat my final placing last year by about 100 spots.

Annoyed about Mata's goal and neither of my keepers playing though.

Found out that my friend has kicked me out of his league for the second year in a row. I'm about 350 points ahead of him. I'm more happy about that than actually winning the league.

Very poor sportsmanship there. I can see why you get great satisfaction from it though.

hate those fckers!! they don't even know when dgw are coming up and then get annoyed when year in year out they fall well behind.

i won our work one 9 out of 10 times (incl world cup and euro championships) and then they told me that they set up their own one without me because "i was ruining it for them all" :D

The same happened me. Won the work league 4 out of 6 years and also won the 2008 Euros league and have always been in top 5 of any league they ran be it FPL or international so this year there was "insufficient interest" in running a league.

A victim of my own success!

ha ha it's terrible isn't it?

Last season i managed to get into a friends work league, he asked if they minded if i joined and they all said yeah no problem, thinking that it'd just be an extra €50 in the pot, i won it by a fair distance and for the next season i was told they decided it was only going to be for people who actually work there, me being the only one who didn't work there.

Annoyed by the Mata goal but Maloney getting no BP is just weird.
It's been said a million times but I HATE the PPI bonus point system.

I can't complain tbh. They were all handing over €30 a year plus the work social club even stopped subsiding the prize money (they used to match the amount workers had entered) after I won it the third time.

I've won the Boards, Off The Ball and Pigsback leagues in different years so have been fairly successful.

The missus looks a cert to win thescore.ie league this year too and I have a good bit of input in her team. Considering she doesn't watch football!

Was away for the weekend with no internet. Was kind of nice not to be checking scores every 10 mins.

Was also nice to come home and find I'm on 71 (-8) points! Still have hopefully 8 players to go again. Only disappointment was the 2 City strikers, but they have another game to redeem themselves.

When is the UEFA Cup final?

Would be worried about Chelsea rotation if they win Wednesday night.

    From independent.ie:

Benitez's men, who have a healthy advantage on goal difference, can now effectively secure a top-four spot with victory over Spurs at Stamford Bridge in midweek, and the Blues interim manager said: "It is massive for us. We knew that we have to get six or seven points to guarantee the top four and we have got three points here."

    70 with 7 to play.

108 points behind the leader in my main league. Can it be done?

just checked there, it's wednesday week, tthe 15th, so in between their last 2 league games and yeah from a FF point of view a win versus spurs puts the likes of Mata under serious rotation risk.

Gerrard is a defensive midfielder and has been all season. Your banking on set pieces for points although in fairness he has got his fair share of points.

yeah i took this onboard and combined with the much cheaper price enabling me to bring sturridge in for anichebe next week (want to keep anichebe v fulham) it seemed like an easy choice.
Gerrard is of course still dangerous but as you say more so from set pieces, he did break through once yesterday and rounded the keeper but those runs seem a lot rarer these days and from yesterday and the part of the newcastle match i seen everything good liverpool do attacking wise seems to go through coutinho.

Not a hope. 40 or 50 points is hard enough to make up at this stage.

Absolutely no chance, I'm assuming the guy takes an interest if he's that far ahead.

I'd given up on my own chances but a Spurs clean sheet(unlikely I know) with a Bale goal against Chelsea would see me gain about 20 more points and leave me behind by less than 20 with two weeks to go, if tevez scores well I could be even closer

Yep, I can see Mata not playing this weekend if they win Wednesday.

I still think alot of people could have left themselves short after this GW. Michu now injured and rotation likely from City and Chelsea for the last two games.

It's all very boring compared to last season.

I agree. Three 0-0 results, nearly 5 if you take spurs and chelsea late winners.

A lot of teams happy to sit back and take it easy and play not to lose rather than play to win if u know what I mean.

It's boring for PL and add in rotation as you say, frustrating for FF!

10 utd players on the piss last nit apparently after losing to Chelsea, just heard don't have link

Hope the postman wasn't there and still wants a couple more goals!

He had Tevez as captain this week, so hopefully Bale and Kone and claw back a few points for me

Sure ya have the likes of West Brom, Swansea and Southampton that have been trundling along for a few weeks now.

Chris Kamara and Goals on Sunday (Monday) have strongly suggested that the Premier League should award Mata with the goal. Now if I know anything in life it's that Kammy knows exactly what he's talking about at any given moment in life. A beacon of knowledge :pac:

I'm getting the sense that the #JusticeForMata campaign is running out of steam

Yesterdays game and your analysis of gerrard is the way he now plays. He has had a great season football wise, but from a ff perspective he is a bad choice(although his points have far execeeded his potential) oscar is a good choice( however his points have been much lower than his potential). He is very rarely in the opposition box and but for liverpool getting a run of pens his ff score would be much lower. Id compare him to arteta in ff potential, both defensive midfielders that rely on set pieces for their points. Mata hazard oscar bale walcott cazorla michu fellani coutinho all better options. It also wouldnt surprise me if gerrard doesnt play again this season he needs a shoulder operation and with nothing to play for they may decide to do it now rather than wait till the end of the season.
I think Ill also do anichebe to sturridge for gw 38 or might take a chance on carroll at home to reading instead.
