That decision is a fcuking disgrace of the highest order. Not in a million years was that a Huddlestone assist. 10-12 points down the drain.

By the sounds of things, the bonus points would have been amended had Bale been given the assist, it's happened a couple of times previously anyway.

From my limited understanding of it, they have points attributed to the actions on the pitch so an assist would be worth seven PPI which would have leapfrogged Bale from 4th in that match up to joint second, getting him two bonus points. Not too sure about the exact PPIs for goals, saves, completed passes etc but that appears to be the gist of it.

Thanks guys! That makes sense. I figured the PPI is separate to FF so there could be discrepancy but it would make sense to update.

I have no real issue with it as everybody I compete with also has him captain but extra points would be nice.

I'm 123 points off my best score (last year) so 42 points per remaining GW is the target

Bale would have gotten a minimum of 2 bonus.

ah fúck it! i was sure when they were reviewing it he'd get the assist.

oh well, at least the issue has been addressed now i can stop checking the FPL site every 5 minutes and do some work.

I did, but everyone else needs to do the same. They have destroyed their consistency. They gave Giroud a goal afew weeks back when not one video showed he touched it.

The more that send it, the more they might change their review process for next year.

Let me say this, if I didn't have Bale in my team, I would still be as adament that this be changed. It's a disgraceful decision. They ask a third party if it was an assist. That third party does not take into account the rules of the FPL when making the decision.

It's cr@p like this that makes me want to switch fantasy games. Sky Sports FF have the correct decision. Maybe I'll play that next year.

The only thing that worries me is that its taking a while to 'further review'. It should have only taken 5 seconds. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid!

Amazing what Fantasy Football does to people. It wouldn't cross my mind to go online and sign petitions for human rights in China or whatever, but deny my captain an assist in FF and i'm all over that at the drop of a hat!
