This is nothing to do with DAB, although I understand Wild Country is available on Freedab.

It also appears to have been broadcasting on FM from Louth over the border

103.6 FM iirc - the signal was originating close to the border iirc

It has been back on air for around a year, lovely signal and audio as far away as Belfast. Word on the street was that Downtown were not too happy since they dropped country off their FM and put it on DAB only.
There is a slightly less GDPR version of the video on their Facebook circulating on some what's app groups too in full HD!

Pretty standard operational procedure, bash the lock off and record everything for chain of custody evidence. Most alarming is the apparent lack of social distancing and lack of PPE going by the publicly available footage. Also surprising that they didn't cut the power before entry, not great H&S awareness or governance on display there. You'd expect better from a Government body.

I wonder was it the authoritys in the North asked ComReg to make a visit

Comreg and Ofcom work collaboratively on spectrum coordination, the Good Friday agreement would give them a framework for operational cooperation I'm sure.

    19th January 2005:
ComReg and Ofcom publish first report on cross-border telecoms issues The Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) and Northern Ireland’s Communications Regulator (Ofcom) today published the first report of their Joint Working Group on cross-border telecoms issues. The Joint Working Group (JWG) was set up in April 2004 in order to explore solutions to problems that affect telecommunications users in both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. These include mobile phone roaming charges, data transfer, numbering, illegal radio broadcasting, and the potential for joint provision of all-island spectrum licences.

So, what remains on Dublin’s airwaves at the moment?

88.1 Unid - Stereo no RDS - good audio quality
    91.0 Hot
    94.3 Easy
    99.5 Energy AM relay

Comreg obviously couldn't be bothered wasting government resources by taking out Hot. After all I would see not one legal would see them as a threat

I barely picked up something on 88.l this evening, but could not make out what kind of music was being played on it. Of course, that could have been BBC Radio 2 coming in on top of the Unid. So, what kind of music was Unid playing? Dance, by any chance??

By the way, were any of the low powered pirates on today?

Mainstream 80s when I was listening....low powered pirates ?, are you referring to the LP relays out Liffey Valley direction?

Impressive conditions allowing in UK stations at the minute also. On Thursday, UK national services were audible on 5 different frequencies (Haverfordwest, North Hessary Tor, Wenvoe, Llanddona, Blaenplwyf) along with BBC Radio Devon also.

The city is the worse for not hearing ads for lock specialists that specialise in locks, car removal companies who specialise in car removals or tanning salons and we specialise in salon tans.

Poster is having a go at the ads on the station because some of them lack creativity.

Still on a blank carrier by the way, that's all day today.
