    Strange but nothing ever seems to go for rabbit as bait around me. A shot fox on the other hand is an entirely different story.

    Did the .204 do the damage to the rabbit or was it a result of scavenging?

    If it's the .204 then that's some knocking power. Nice shot.

    I have literally had rabbits skinned shooting them with 40gr vmax from the .223, they pretty much explode....

    Hi Cass .204 done all damage,the grey only got seconds on the bait after shooting him over 20 greys turned up on trees screeching for ovr 30 min but no safe backstop ,jasus they made my blood boil .
    Hi Conmaicne Mara big sheep country down here iv shot close to 150 foxes down this way during yr thats by day and night but always dispose of bodies after cutting tails off so rabbit is my fav bait for them .Do nice bit of shooting here for farmers after taking care of foxes round our on land .
