So who's taking bets on his back starting to hurt if he isn't below par for the day when he makes the turn in round 2?

I hope the highlight shows up somewhere....but Rory had a fantastic bunker shot on the 8th (his 17th)......2nd shot on the par 5 ended up in a greenside bunker, his bunker shot was 80 odd feet to 20 inches to set up the birdie.

Playing partner Scott had a virtually identical back nine, strange one

Wind is back up, so approach shots are going a little wayward.....if conditions stay the same PAR will be a good score today.

By looks of it online it looks like you be doing well to shoot +3

Just started watching the golf channel stream.....looks rough out there....wind completely took Rory's second shot on the first

Brett Rumford just put 3 drives in the water on the 10th.....on his 4th attempt off the tee, he went way right to be safe and put it 20 yards into the rough.

I like seeing Golfers on tough courses but this makes it a lottery

Gotta disagree there! The ball was in the rough below his feet and he made a poor shot/club choice and ended up slicing it. Wind wasn't the issue.

Fantastic shot by Snedeker...... just holed out from 88 yards to eagle the first..........

McIlroy in trouble. Probably going to go to +2 after hitting a wedge into the water on the 7th with his 3rd shot.

Gmac enjoying the tough conditions, -2 today, -1 overall.

Judging from the WGC tee-shirts, caps and brown khakis, I'd guess all 4 girls are actually there working.......shocking that they wouldn't know any better

    I'd say they were alright.

Haha... a putt like that will put a smile even on Tiger's face. 92ft.

My guess......working in a concession or merchandise stand, out for a stroll on their break.....probably never seen a golf course before this week

They are talking about a 3 club wind.... The trees are telling lies so!

Doesn't look that bad at all

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,733 ✭✭✭SnowDrifts

That's sickening that Dustin is getting free relief from where he was. Looking forward to hearing the reasoning behind that.

Palm trees are deceptive.....the limbs are stronger than you'd think

I really hope we get some explanation as the the Johnson drop. Unless he said he was going to play left handed so that his stance would then be on the path and as such get free relief but it didn't look like that was an option. Shocking that he has a birdie putt after such a poor drive.

And he gets it!! So unjust.

Ya, there are plenty on non palm trees that aren't moving much.
Flags aren't doing much either... For a supposed 3 club wind

That putt for anyone that missed it.

He did some weird thing with his mouth after he holed it, never seen him do that, could see all his teeth and everything, very unusual!! :P

Can someone explain how Dustin got that drop from deep in the bushes?
