Completely disagree. He is the complete opposite of most of the PC drones on tour. Follow him on twitter and see why.

In fairness he comes out with some good lines on Twitter. It's being constantly reminded about how great he is that irritates me, in a similar way to Beef a few years ago.

Did follow him on Twitter and he totally lost it with me after I told him he was being g disrespectful to Padraig Harrington, he was paired also with Paul Dunne and said "2 things are certain we will be on the clock and be putted to death" Arrogant F***er

Can fully understand how that is seen. I do like the both of them myself, fun to watch without the "boring" side.

He wasn’t wrong, Dunne is notoriously slow and an excellent putter.

I like Eddie, career in acting for him when he hangs up the clubs, thought he was hilarious is the content committee video on YouTube.

Remember a few years ago Joey Barton took to Twitter espousing all sorts of philosophical and political views . People were hailing him as some sort of intellectual . It was laughable .
It’sort of reminds me of some of the non sense spoken about Pepperel

Some of Eddies posts are funny and some not so much but I'd rather his than some PR ran twitter feed from the rest.

Stensons instagram is quite good for some behind the scenes.

Don’t think Eddie is trying to be anything, certainly not philosophical.

He has put out some stupid tweets but the majority entertaining and honest unlike the PR junk you see from most.

Really wanted to see Jim Furyk go for that and fall into the lake. :D

I've a feeling Rahm will win comfortably from here

He’s only 1 ahead of a very strong chasing pack and will be trying to follow up an excellent round today in what looks like poor enough weather for what they are used to.

Rahm was red hot today and is now the bookies favourite. Can’t argue with that but there’s a fair few in behind could be in the mix yet.

Rahm will be very hard to stop from here.
Is Rory in the final group?

    They just said he’s not.

Thought it was first in last out?

Wouldn't rule out someone like dj or Bradley shooting a 65 tomorrow and making it very interesting.

Is it something to do with R2 score? Did think it was as you said.

I feel it's going to be McIlroy and Fleetwood. Both struggled today but kept it together and shot under par rounds.
Jason Day could have a big say too.

Seven more cut on MDF. All over level par are out, leaving 73 in the field.

Glad to see Power made it. The hole in one helped.

Managed to bogey the 12th, went in the water at 13 for a double, bogeyed the 15th and then finished birdie, birdie, par which was a great recovery. He would have been skirting with the MDF cut if he hadn't got it together there. If he can cut out the mistakes today, he could pick up a decent pay cheque.

Why isn’t Rory in the last group if he posted his score before Fleetwood ?

Just read the post above. News to me

It’s a new thing for me too. Tommy teed off first on first hole so he’s in the last group. I assume he teed off first because he shot lower R2 score but not 100 per cent on that.

I'd guess it goes by better back nine when players have the same score.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,822 ✭✭✭✭First Up

Its usually just whoever puts their card in first.

That rule doesn’t apply to two players in the same group.

It’s because Fleetwood teed off first yesterday and the reason he did so was because he was first to hand in his card the previous day. Sorry can’t post link, but that’s official explanation.
