Shane Lowry just birdied 12 and 13 to get back to level for the day. Would love him to get a top 10 finish.

Just puts the European tour into context which is terrible in general for attendances. It's like the premier league versus league of Ireland

Now Shane has driven the green on 17 - eagle chance!

Shane missed the eagle by an inch. Birdie. Now tied 6th. Now please stay dry on the 18th.

Good finish after a very mediocre day yesterday and front 9 today.

Ricky Fowler wet on 17. He could easily lose his two shot lead here.

No need to hit driver there, bad call

Rickie really has gained some yards over the last year. Will be interesting to see the stats at the end of this year.. might give Rory a run.

Some shot played into 18 there... a big win for him to start the year off (should he hole the putt).

Missed most of it - looks one of the best tournaments of the year.

That did not look like it was going in - balls of steel from both.

    Jesus the shoes are terrible.

I'm rooting for Rickie, in spite of the ankle gear.

Rickie gets to tee off first.

Two good tee shots. Matsuyama will get to play his second shot first.

    2 more very good drives.

Sky commented that there isn't much chat between these two.....I don't think Matsuyama speaks much English!
