That's as intentional as it gets I'm afraid. Disgraceful from a player like POC, he could have done serious damage to DK's head and knew what he was doing.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Look it's simple. O'Connell will surely be cited and rightfully so. He can answer the charge then. Until that time maybe we should focus on the game.

Surely the winner for the most OTT comment to every appear in the Rugby forum.
I'll admit that it was an overreaction. On refection it was probably accidental but deserved a red card. It was careless and it was reckless. The fact that it was accidental should reduce the ban from 52 weeks to something around 20 weeks.

In a word yes or are you saying POC has no control over his bodily movements

    Not gonna bother.

Players get sent off every week for accidental high tackles, accidental spears etc.

    That was no different.

How anyone can argue it wasn't a red is baffling.

You have a duty of care to other players on the pitch.

exactly, sam warburton didnt mean to drop Clerc on his head in RWC 2011 but it was a red card.

Also, Owens penalised Kilcoyne for dragging down on Ross but Kilcoyne has kept doing the same thing and not been penalised.

Your right, a gust of wind came from behind POC and swept his right foot straight into the head of DK.

    Now you're just being silly.

That's pretty disgusting from POC, should be taking a lengthy enough enforced break for that.

Why? you asked the question and I answered it. Anyway he'll be sitting out the rest of the season and possibly the Lions due to his stupidity.

Pay attention to this word. It was stupid, not an intentional kick aimed at the head like your implying

    Excellenyt however from Heaslip.

    Textbook turnover.

Jamie heaslip has been very good for the last few minutes!

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,182 ✭✭✭crisco10

Somewhat ironically, given what some munsterfans think of him. Heaslip was killing munster at the breakdown through those phases.

He effectively won the ball twice on the deck in that attack.

So in your mind POC didn't think I can see the ball, I'll try put a boot on it. Which he irresponibly tried to do

In your mind you think POC thought to himself it's head kicking time.

    Incredible.

mmm if it was a full penalty advatage as it looke (think boss was in the wrong though) how in hells bells could it be over after a box kick that didnt go 10?

    WHARS THA ADVANTAGE REF ???

Magnificent from Heaslip. That's three times in the space of 5?mins where he's got himself in that position. I know the topic of his form is a sensitive subject on here, but whether his form has been good or bad, it's certainly improving.

Kearneys head was between O'Connell and the ball! What did he expect to happen?

    Leinster
The extra two day turnaround has played its part IMO. Can't say Leinster don't deserve the win given the contentious decisions.

It was stupid because he intentionally kicked a prone player in the head or are you saying he has no control over his feet?
