I totally agree with you on this. When you consider that Scott Quigg demolished him 7 years ago and is now retired, he’s had 20 odd fights from then as well then you wonder how this comes about, as likeable as he is. Warrington may be on as much of a slide though so it might not just be that handy for him. I don’t expect him to be able to sustain that relentless style any longer and he could well go to pieces as he finds that out. What is the story with Lara, how come they didn’t have the re-rematch? I just checked and see he’s fought again since.

Jono Caroll fight just starting on Eurosports 2 now.

Watching. He’s 33-1 on. His opponent mustn’t be able to tie his own shoelaces

Your man doesn't look like he has much to offer

You’d wonder where in God’s name they pull these rankings. Jono is 2 with WBA..not ranked by WBC, WBO or IBF

They may as well stop it now.

Your man's dreads have a better chance at knocking out Carroll than his fists.

One of the worst mismatches ever. That lad was atrociously inept

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,907 ✭✭✭✭blade1

Ref was slow to step in.

My jaysus. I thought Jono’s opponent was bad last night. He was like Marvin fooking Hagler compared to Doheny’s

Ray Moylette in the ring now. Will have his work cut out for him here against Dalton Smith.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,215 ✭✭✭✭walshb

    Ray is very limited

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭Morrison J

    Ref bottled the DQ there.

I like Paschal but as a trainer, I think serious questions need to be asked.

A lot of the time his fighters are well beaten.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,215 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Moylette walked forward all night taking punches…

Is he to blame for not improving them?

Then the tactics they seem to display. Walking punch bags!

Martinez and Warrington are going at it hammer and tongs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,594 ✭✭✭Choochtown

Warrington going at it head and shoulder

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 15,497 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Warrington wins it, a final flurry of unanswered punches with Martinez on the ropes. Just before that flurry Martinez had caught Warrington with his best shot of the night.

Some heart in Kiko - but it is missing a lot of blood right now.

    Another headbutting masterclass from Warrington.

He has been at it his whole career. Selby, Lara, Frampton all suffering from his head rather than his fists.

Amazing how he gets away with it.

Some heart from Kiko but after the cut I didnt think he was going to get the KO

Anyone watch the Riakporhe fight? was quite entertaining as a contest but he was always going to get the ko. A very powerful man

Inoue v Donaire 2 announced for a tuesday in June in Japan. Must start playing lotto for a chance to go to that!

Cant see Donaire pulling this off again but hope it matches the first which was an epic war.
