Is this not just showing that a lot of people live in Dublin and Cork?

    Population Dublin: 1,110,627
    Population Cork : 518,128
    Population Galway : 250,541
    Population Limerick : 191,809

Keeps going down until you get to Leitrim which is only 30,000 ish.

Hardly surprising you're going to find a lot of atheists, or anything else in the two largest population centres.

Atheists per capita would be a more useful indication of which is the most heathen county :D

Born in Cork, grew up in Kerry, now living in Dublin.

btw, BIshop Casey gave me by first communion -- wohoo!

Born in Santry, currently live in Lucan, so I suppose Dublin will have to do in the poll.

There seems to be a problem:

I don't see BADASS CRATER OF BADASSITUDE on the poll...

We really don't have enough options in the poll to determine how much - if any -of an urban/rural divide on the issue exists.
Not sure there would be really. I think it's more likely there's a generational divide in the country, mainly because a lot more under 40s will have attended college and/or worked in a major city than not.

As I feared- it appears I am the only atheist in the metaphorical village.

    :(
