    3 on the back and sides, scissors on top. Gets done every 4 weeks - any longer and it starts looking very grey :eek:

    Ah I don't actually mind the grey. I don't think bald would suit me though though it has receded/thinned out a bit over the years :(

    And it's still not classed as long hair, hehe.

    I had long hair before, over 20 inches of it anyway. Had it cut off years ago, but liked it while I had it. Much prefer something middle of the road these days, it's just easier.

    A women has to be very good looking to pull off really short hair. Nice long hair can make an average looking woman look more attractive

    I have not had a haircut in the past 5 years and my hair is now about half way down my back. I love my long hair and the feeling of having a ton of hair around me. Sometimes people have mistaken me for a woman, but I don't care and I intend to let my hair grow even longer.

    Hahah that used to happen to me when I had long(oh wait no according to this thread I had short hair with fringe swept forward) hair when I was 16. I worked in a Spar and I'd always hear people be like 'give it to the girl.' Hahaha I don't see how anyone over 20 could get mistaken though.

    I used to have long hair and a beard but thinning hair put an end to that. Now its a baldy/beardy combo.

    Once when I had long hair, I was out for lunch with my wife. Anyway the waitress walked to us from behind me and said

    'Now girls, what do you fancy?'

    We laughed but she nearly died and we got a free lunch :)
