What ever it is I hope you get it sorted. What can appear trivial to us can be a huge thing for a child. I assumed you've asked him? I know my lad doesn't devulge anything which is fine now that there is nothing wrong.

We've asked him and asked him and he is the kind of child that tells us every little thing ( I hope anyhow ) .
The teacher was texting the wife after about five mins after she left this morn and he was sound , its just seems to be the going into class that he has an issue with .
He is happy out this evening and has us promised that he will be grand tomorrow morning so hopefully today was just starting back nerves and not a repeat of last year

Cow with mastitis for the third time, today...............she was issued with her boarding card this evening

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,391 ✭✭✭✭Timmaay

Have one with ecoli mastitis at the minute, have got the swelling down at least, so she should recover fine, but she'll be another bloody 3 spinner I'd say. I've got 8 of them in the herd now (10%), got other priorities on the cull list though so will have to keep them!

Àfraid to say much but so far so good. We are sub 200. 150 mostly if it goes near 200 we investigate..

We had 6-7 cases in a row during hot weather but theu all responded to treatment and are still clear. We are recording next week and will review again

Scc result on every collection which is daily at the moment is a great help

Lock the mother into a shed with access to hay only and leave the young ones out in a dry shelter field with plenty of meal. You'll find the bawling stops after about two days.:D

Don't we have the dads coming on here, waffling on about this issue, just as well as the mothers:confused:
    Lock them up as well.
Been reading the various posts about this, over the past week. Find it utterly amazing.
Fug sake, the tail is wagging the dog (I mean poodle) around here.

There is probably a bit of truth in what you're saying damp but when the child is stressed to the nines about something like going into school you would want to be fairly hard to walk away from them
