The shop is going to carry the stock that will sell the most €€€ overall (and have some grand displays). That's likely to be lots of small to medium sets, not occasional big sets.

Yeah, that's true. But they still should have given Rivendell a better display :) Another thing I noticed is they had a modular building on a display (the jazz club, or the hotel, I can't remember exactly) and the base of the platform that it's on has two large circles on it, so I thought I could spin it around and have a look at the back of it, but they didn't move. Revolving displays would be great, and they do have the room for a few of them in Dublin. Anyways enough of my moaning.

Yeah I dont think they are meant to give the brickheads out with it anymore, but the guys in the shop were chatting about it between themselves so I said yes please! haha.

Will try take my time with the build, but that never works out for me

I noticed on amazon there all lego seems to have gone up since yesterday by a little over a pound per set. Not sure why exactly. Maybe stronger pound.

So this month the lego star wars magazine has 2 free polybags. The Clone wars minifigure I was not expecting. I was in tescos and they had the exact same magazine but instead of the minifigure you got the millennium falcon instead. So I got this magazine version in dunnes which I much preferred.

None of them left in Easons near work and when I had a look in Tesco getting lunch there were two left and both of them only had the x-wing bag taped to them so either someone has sticky fingers, although it didn't look like the tape had been peeled off and put back, or someone made a boob somewhere.

There are a few variants out there all the same:

• X-wing/Clone Trooper.

Not sure if it's true but there is talk of a new Lego pirates set coming in July, the Eldorado Fortress, an update of an old 80s set (kinda like they did with Barracuda Bay). 2,500 pieces, around €220. Fingers crossed!

Rivendell? Class. I have a bit of buyers remorse as it cost so much, but I am a Tolkien fantatic and i hummed and hawed over it for a couple of weeks so I think I would have regretted not buying it.

Rivendell yeah, ah I can understand that as it is alot, but trust me the building experience and final display piece is worth the money

I saw there was one alright, looks class. I haven't dabbled in that yet. Someone did buy me the light kit for the UCS falcon but haven't installed it yet.

I would usually hold off for when there is GWP when ordering on lego site. These just dropped there today. Especially if spending a big amount.

Looks really cool now. Rumour there is double VIP points June 9th to the 13th so you might want to hold off for that.
