I would have just turned 22 fifteen years ago. The nearest I got to a computer then was a paint mixing machine that was in the DIY shop I worked in. I barely knew what an internet was. I still have no idea what Quake is.

It was all grand until my boss added up how much time I was spending on boards and thumped

I got away with it by lying blatantly! Good times.

MP was always married I think... Koopa has two kids (maybe more!).... Kharn is now Dav(Shiminay) here....talked to Reaper a couple of years ago and he was working in London and Dublin.... I dunno about the other guys, would love to hear from them.
As for the founders, Regi is in Australia, Vex is still around and in Dublin afaik, Ecksor now works with Amazon after going to college in the UK, Cloud is still a lecturer in Galway and still being an entrepreneur. I went off and played poker for a living for a while and recently decided to do what I always wanted to do and started a games design company. So it kinda has come full circle, I'm back playing games

13 years since I registered my first boards account... I remember a time when the dial-up connection at home was so bad that I could click on a page, go make a cup of coffee, and it would only just have loaded by the time I got back!

Indeed you can, I click on this link cause my father died this day 15 years ago, (I was think could it be, really could it be... how exciting, my father made an impact) I'm delighted for boards.ie and long may it continue, (it sort of has a shadow for me though), but I'm delighted that an new idea came from that date.

Fifteen years already!! Time sure does fly. I remember this place being only 5 years old, then 10.... Some old skool names popping up in this thread anyway.
