Any word of when they are going to release the voice commands in Ireland? Its annoying having to switch back to Ireland when I want to buy something with my Microsoft credit.

Improvements to Kinect were mentioned in the patch notes for the March update, so the Irish setting might be in there.

There's also a rumour that The Xbox One will be released in more countries in April, so if that's the case, then there would definitely be more languages supported at that stage. Not sure how accurate it is though, as I thought that they'd have announced it by now. Perhaps right after the Titanfall launch?

Nope and nope! No sign of Irish being supported and with April just around the corner you'd have expected an announcement far sooner. The sites i've read put a batch of releases in april and october.

I don't have a clue when to predict it'll arrive, but it doesn't seem the type of thing that'll arrive with a lot of fanfare, honestly.

They really should add an option to turn "Auto Record" off, but still be able to say "Xbox Record That". There is nothing more annoying when playing FIFA than the fecking thing recording 4 or 5 clips a game, not only every goal but they record saves... Why on earth would I want to see a save the CPU made?

Actually, if I turn off DVR can I still say "Xbox Record That" and have it work?

Just tried doing so, & I think it may have worked!

That to me would be how I'd like it to work alright

Actually is there a voice command to get it to start recording a new clip from when you say it? Not like the record that which only covers stuff that already happened. The snap thing and having to manually start one is very cumbersome.

I was trying to delete some of the clips of my keepers saves and it took so long to delete one. Surely there should be an option to delete them quicker.

    Not using it myself, but:

From pictures on twitter, there is a 50Hz option in the TV set up to fix the Judder.

There's also the controller update that Titanfall requires.

EDIT: Apparently you can also set the volume increment as well, which actually makes it useful for me.

Interesting Question in the Xbox Rewards survey this month:
What one thing would you change about the Xbox One:
    • The price
    • More Games
    • More Apps
    • Original TV Content
    • Ease of Use
    • Nothing, It's perfect

Looks like Microsoft might be actually looking long and hard about how to get more Xbox Ones out there. (Being entirely selfish, and considering I already shelled out full price for the console, I couldn't bring myself to answer 'Lower Price' :))

Pity the questionnaire didn't have the option "Lower Digital Game Prices"

Just got an update for the smartglass app on windows 8.1 there, if the changes they have made to the friends list on One are the same as the change to the smartglass app it will be a very positive step.

Cheapish deal in Argos. Xbox One with Fifa 14 download and a free Plants vs Zombies for Xbox One for €469.99 in total.

    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/1449725.htm

add plants vs zombies through the special offer link.

Plants vs Zombies is 37.99 on its own in Argos, best bricks and mortar price I've seen

To bear in mind Titanfall is out in two weeks should be a similar price and offer if you can hold out as there will be a Titanfall bundle too.

What's the handiest way to play movies from a usb or hard drive on the one, am I correct in thinking the 360 needs to come out of retirement?
Any ideas when it's meant to be supported?

Pretty much, streaming is the only way I can think of and even then the only way I got it to work was from the other device if it has a "play to" function / windows 8.

Even when it does get implemented it will be a redundant feature for many with smart TV's or any TV with a USB slot, they will have better support than the one ever will, ffs my TV even has a Plex app now so anything microsoft can offer will pale in comparison.

Using osx so the windows steaming option is out, tv is a kuro and I won't be changing it until it blows up even if it doesn't have apps.
I see some people mentioning skydive, can you load something straight into skydive on the one or have you to upload your download first to watch it...all seems like a lot of work...still thinking I bought this 2 years too early.

Only read this now so didn't try the sofa play route, i've spent the last while trying to get plex set up and running which i'm happy to report has been a success, i've only tried a trailer in .mp4 but it's working, will try some 1080p movies tomorrow and see how the xbox handles them.

I needed to set a static ip for my laptop then set up a port forward to it on the router and open up the internet explorer app on the xbox one and hey presto i'm streaming straight from the laptop in the other room. :)

You an access your free plex on the xbox one by going to http://plex.tv/web/app if you try and access plex with any other address it may try and load but it won't work.

I've only tired the apple movie trailer plex app, that does not work.

Films streaming fine, picture and audio perfect just using a standard eircom router.
So that's how you watch movies on the xbox one. Phew!

Been playing it since the 25th, really fun game. Plants are a little op though but solid all around, the argos price makes it a no brainer imho although I imagine matches will drop off a bit once titafall is released still a fun alternative.

Lads any sign of interactive games like 1 v 100 that was on the 360 a few years back?

Agree with this. I picked it up today and it's actually just class. So much fun to just chill out and play.
