Wind Warning for Munster, Leinster, Connacht, Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan

Very windy with some severe gusts. Strong to gale force west to northwest winds will produce gusts of 110 to 130 km/h in Connacht, Donegal, and in coastal areas of Munster. Elsewhere winds will gust between 80 and 90 km/hr.

After dark this evening (Monday), showers will become increasingly wintry, with the possibility of some accumulations of snow and hence slippery roads. The very strong winds could produce some blizzard like conditions, especially in the north and west on high ground.

Any lying snow will melt during Tuesday morning and afternoon as temperatures rise.

It actually seems to be located on the hill over looking Wicklow Town and not in The Wicklow Mountains.

yeah, that's why I asked. I couldn't imagine a camerea being high up in teh mountains, unless overlooking Roundwood or Blessignton. :rolleyes:

A member on here used to have a cam in Laragh and you would often seen a pasting of snow on it.

The masts at Three Rock and Kippure would be a great location for cameras. Three Rock has a great view over the city and is at about 400m, and Kippure is at 720m. Both have power and internet already in place. I'm sure there are private cameras there already.

That's hypnotic, i can't help it but keep dragging the animation back and forth. Love the way the showers are forming as the air seems to pour off the coast of Greenland and Newfoundland.
