Mine will most likely be Podolski out for Dzeko or maybe Aguero. Gonna wait for the City lineup on Tuesday first. Or i might go with a one week punt as i'll wildcard next week.

will sturridge start every week or will sterling etc be rotated with him? i want to do ba > sturridge soon but no point if sturridge is as much as a rotation risk as ba as that is the only reason i want rid of ba

Whats the rest of your team like, that seems like a massive amount of money spent on defense!!!

I would think that having 2 pricey defenders is enough, it would allow you to upgrade Puncheon/Guthrie to a better midfield option! Thats just my opinion though, all my defenders are relatively cheap bar gibbs! Ill probably transfer him out for Zab myself and i plan to change Jussi for either cech or de gea! That will do me defensively! There are too few CS being kept this season for me to justify so much money spent in defense!

If you are adamant on making the move i would have to think Evra was the best bet at the moment but Rafael could be well worth a punt for 1mil less!

What I meant to say was can I use my Wildcard for gameweek 25 or is the midweek game the last week to use wildcard? Not activated it yet.

I'm happy with Puncheon to be honest, he scores well some weeks and he's v cheap. I'll decide on Tuesday morning at this stage. I like having 2 solid defenders. I'm contemplating Cech or DeGea as well.

Anyone thinking of getting Ground in? I have Suarez RVP and Ba up front. Not keeping Ba after the Reading game and thought I might get Giroud in. Problem is that I think Giroud will score against Liverpool. Do I ditch Ba for him now?

I'd keep Ba for the Reading game. They've a poor defence and he's a good striker.

Sturridge is up top. Suarez behind him. Suarez scored yesterday though. Sturridge didn't.

Suarez is a player I've had since before Xmas and I'll be keeping him until he stops scoring which hasn't happened yet.

Gibbs maybe. Cuellar has an outside chance of being back for the next sunderland game and they have nice fixtures Id keep him the others all offer good value IMO. Gibbs to nastasic or clichy or if u raise a bit more money Zabelata.

Have you considered Andy Carroll? Torres scored yesterday, he's in great form

Swiper, what are your thoughts about Bale over the next 5 games?

I didn't see yesterdays game or even highlights so I don't know how he went, obviously I would have expected him to be on the scoresheet but it wasn't to be. I'm in a strange position because I swapped him out for Walcott last week and may not be in a position to bring him back just yet. My thoughts on Bale are always the same though, you'd expect him to trouble any defence particularly those of weaker teams, recently teams have set up to negate him as much as possible but his striking is nearly up to Ronaldo's level now. I'd expect at least 3 goals in the next few games, couple of assists as well. As you know it's tough enough to get these things right, for the remainder of the season as long as he stays fit I think he'll be with Mata as the top Midfielder.

I have half an eye on Assou-Ekotto as an admitedly expensive but potentially high scoring defender, yesterday aside Spurs have been mean enough at the back recently.
