2 sets already reduced by 75% (due to large amount of stock of them, the sales assistant told me)
    "Gok Bag of Indulgance" €15

    Sheer Sanctuary Indulgance

More than likely to be the week after next that the 75% off everything will start. Sadly won't be able go get to a boots first thing then so will end up with what's left after work :(

I seen some things for half price but no big sale. The assistant told me this was the sale  I consoled myself with some 19c Cadburys Fudge bars. They were full size ones in with the sweets and not marked as an offer.

No, unless it is a razor christmas gift set. Its all the christmas stock they are reducing.

The 19th is a Saturday/ All the pointers are that it will be the 16th unless they change tatics this year. Staff are not told when its going to be on either (apparently) I'll be going out of my way to get to a boots on Wednesday so it had better be on:pac::pac:

The braun razors are well reduced as it is.

Some are 33% some 50% and one 66%. I got the braun series 7 790cc in liffey valley boots for half price €210. That's the absolute top of the range one with the clean and charge base station. Its an absolutely fantastic machine. its half price on amazon too about €180 but they won't deliver to Ireland. i think its classed as dangerous goods because the cleaning pack solution is flammable.

It was half price on the boots UK site for about a week and is gone back up to £300 now.

The series 5 is a pretty good razor too braun are way ahead of Phillips and Panasonic imo.

How do I find out how many points I have on my Boots card? I have never used my Boots card to pay for anything and I've had it for 6 years!

The total is printed at the end of every receipt when you collect points so if you can find your most recent receipt, it will be the up to date total. Otherwise you could just ask them to check for you at the till :)
    Enjoy spending all those points!!

Boots will be doing the gift sets tomorrow the 14th at 75% off. The usual suspects Gillette lynx and all them type. My niece works there and they were doing the pricing and store displays after work this evening, she said they have lots of stock and pretty much everything that was on the shelves over xmas is available.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,396 ✭✭✭lindtee

It had better not be tomorrow as I can't go :(

Also does anyone know which store has the best stock? I found Liffey Valley the best last year.

Probably the same or any of the other larger stores - the new one in Blanchardstown could probably rival Liffey Valley size-wise so might have some good stock as well.

Is that the one beside HMV and Penny's?

Yes - they moved to the unit next door to HMV, it used to be The Jean Scene and something else, it is much bigger than the one that was on the opposite side (it was on the same side as the cinema originally).

Not really. You could manage to get down the aisles.

Thanks for this guys, got a few gifts for people this year that were much appreciated, and would make good gifts during the year.

My local seem to have plenty of stock of them too.

Its 100% happening today as the things are reduced online. At least I know I won't be wasting a journey this morning.

    http://www.boots.com/en/Offers/SALE/
(might be worth using parcel motel for those who can't make the sale in store but from reading HUKD there is often stock issues on popular items)

Well, i wasn't prepared for that! Went to the one on childers road, Limerick hoping to get a late christmas present for my sister but was baracaded out by women with trollies. Hadn't a hope of getting something. Prob a rookie mistake on my behalf going just when the shop opened. Scary stuff though, ha.

The Liffey Valley branch was vicious! but I got what I wanted :D Thanks for the tip OP!

Things fairly civil in Henry St (poor stock) and Jervis St (loads of stock).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,292 ✭✭✭Galadriel

Just back from the Jervis Street shop, got a pile of stuff :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 954 ✭✭✭ComeraghBlue

Was very crazy at 9.30 at the Big boots in Cork City.

People with trolleys with 20-30 packs of fcuk sets. Shouldn't be allowed to buy that much when it's obviously to resell.

Only had ten mins as I was on tea break and got quite a bit good stuff. Some really bargains to be had but stock is rapidly depleting thanks to the people with trolleys.

Very civil in Omni in Santry too.... probably because they have bugger all on offer! Very poor there this year, was great last year

Went to Dublin jervis about 11am. Good selection, busy but not ridiculous. Got 245 euros worth of stuff for 61. Will smell only beautiful till next Christmas :-D
