Fear of getting old

Do you guys fear getting old? Do you ever imagine what you will look like in 20 -25 years time provided you 're still living? Do you feel sad looking back on photos in time of family or good friends or loved ones of yours who looked younger back then? Personally, it does upset me and I fear getting old big time. Thoughts?

I don't fear getting old at all - a lot of people don't get the chance. As others have said a loss of independence towards the end isn't something to look forward to but I think people who say it will never happen to them suffer more when it does, my grandmother being one of them.
