It sucks to lose like that but I sincerely hope the Ravens go on to win it. Flacco is a really likeable guy and #52 gets more impressive year by year. They physically beat the piss out of the offence tonight and all the big hits were clean.

Thinking of starting a drinking game that anytime you hear Harbaugh Bowl over the next 2 weeks you have to down a pint.

You'll have to get pumped by the time the night is out.

At least the Pats fans can still be happy in the knowledge they are the best regular season team over the last few years.

Ah the thread isn't complete without the classless comment. Good man. Tell him what he has won bob.

Harbough just say to Pollard, "you won that game" or was it Boldin? I only caught a glimpse, either could be true I guess
    It was Boldin!

Pretty impressive from Ravins. That stat that Brady was 67-0 at home when leading at halftime until today was impressive.

Ray Lewis announcing he'd retire when we needed momentum going into the Colts game is probably one of the management masterstrokes of all time.

best timing of a retirement ever.

Powerful stuff there in the dressing room with OJ Brigance.

Its another year gone by where I am left thinking what could have been.

Injury and self inflicted wounds, story of the post season again.

Belichick giving his typical press conference now with about 100 total words in the whole thing. He's just after stopping mid answer and just stared at the reporter.

That ray rice 3rd and 29 check down play from earlier in the season is a huge turning point too.

Ah man. The 49ers can't stop a tidal wave of emotion like this. It's the Ravens' Superbowl.

So pumped right now! What a night of football.

Anquan Boldin has been absolute money in these playoffs!

So happy for Flacco, Lewis, Reed and all the rest :D

Terrell Suggs quoted on twitter as having said about the Pats:

"Tell them to have fun at the pro bowl. Shut them out in the second half, arrogant ****ers"

"These are the most arrogant pricks in the world starting with Belichick on down."

**** what Terrell Suggs has to say tbh

Teared up a little at Ray's speech there. I can only imagine what it's like to be in the locker-room knowing you have that man's career in your hands. There is not way on Earth they can come in flat against the 49ers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

His press conference prior was dour to the point that it was ****ing hilarious. Dark humour that breaking bad would do well to rival.

Had to hand the TV back over to the family. 8 hours of sports (united game included) outwears its welcome with my missus for some reason :D

I hate jim harbaugh but I hope the 49ers batter them.

I don't have much time for either team tbh but that's sport for you.

Can't believe the ravens are there. They stank the joint out a few times this year

I don't think the Pats are any more cocky or arrogant than any other organisation. I think their record over the Belichick-Brady-Kraft era has given some fans a greater level of expectation and confidence but that doesn't make them cocky. Yes, you would have expected the Pats to win today and just because Vegas gives them a 10 point won doesn't make them cocky. I think that's pretty bad form from Suggs and he probably means that more towards the media and Vegas than the Patriots.
