Oh the pressure!!! ;) I'm sandwiched between two serious pros!
When should I post up my recipe then? And I suppose there's an explanation somewhere of how to post photos, am I right?

But both are first time contributors to the Cooking Club (as far as I remember!). So it's no pressure at all ;)

There's no guide, but you post your recipe on the date that's listed (so the 18th of January for you). I'll do up a post (or steal one from somewhere else!) about how to post photos :).

/edit: Or if you want to, you can post your recipe earlier than the 18th, report the post and ask for it to be deleted until the correct day.

My green chilli was obviously completely forgettable :(

Ooh, what to post, what to post?!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,463 ✭✭✭loveisdivine

I have a question. Does it have to be a recipe we have created ourselves? Or can it be a recipe from a favourite cookbook? Maybe one that we have adapted slightly.

Its just I dont have many recipes that are completely my own from scratch.

I will more than likely be away on my date (27/9) but I can post the week before or if anyone else needs a swap I can oblige!

Eep, sorry! I don't eat spicy food, so the spicy recipes rarely register with me :o

It can be anything. If it's a recipe you're copying directly, do try to credit the author/cookbook. If you've adapted it yourself, that's fine.

Thanks a million for that Faith, I've something in mind...hoping the people in the weeks before me don't have something similar though, my first and second ideas had both been done in 2010! :(

But your recipes are different! It doesn't matter if they've been done before, as long as you have a different approach. People would like to try more than one recipe for something, I'm sure!

(Unless it's a better version of one of my recipes - then I'll just delete it and blame a system glitch ;))
