Anyone ever read anything by Nick Hornby? Someone probably has, he's not exactly unknown.

I got one of his books in the library and I think I might start it later.

I miss the double bed. They decided my little brother would stay in my room, so I lost my bed. I lost the double bed, but my brother didn't sleep in my room anyway :P

I wish I had a few stray cats in my backyard,the cats around my neighbourhood are so grumpy,go near them and they'll hiss at you .

Only one of the ones here is always friendly. Two other I can rub occasionally if they're in the mood - if they're not they'll just walk a bit away from ya

No none of them are. They're strays so they're not really ours - they wonder around the gardens here. When they first showed up we rang a couple of places like the ISPCA and a local welfare shelter but they wouldn't take them away or even offer a neutering service.

Seriously? :eek:

They really should be. A lot of places do Trap Neuter Release schemes, keep an eye out for them.

Sorry seph - no pics! I didn't think of it. It was a young enough kitten, maybe 3 months old. So cute!

Like if we could get them trapped and neutered we'd be ok with keeping them around but they're breeding every so often and that isn't good at all

Yeah pretty soon there will be loads of them. It's a big problem in Ireland unfortunately.
