I r bored, frrrrreeeeeeeeeeeezzzzinggg with the cold and tired. Kinda hungry too. Would love some Potato Wedges and a big pan of fried mushrooms right now. :) I can even smell the mushrooms.... Yummmmmm :)

I'm sorry but mushrooms are disgusting :p

If you change to the new beta skin you can see the menu bar. Hopefully they fix the old beta skin soon, much prefer that one!

Hey there PP, how's it going?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,921 ✭✭✭✭hdowney

I am cold. I have almost completely run out of coal. I just about managed to stretch it. I miss my friggin central heating so bad (I never thought I would but when you don't have it, only the fire that only heats one room and your funds are being EAT by having to buy coal....)

All good. Full after dinner and all warm and cozy. :)

bundle up under the covers HD and maybe take some cocoa or tea with you.:( or maybe go somewhere else to visit where they have heat or start baking if you have an oven.

Buy snuggies. They're relatively cheap and they're very warm and comfy :)

I have a snuggie :) It's just frustrating, and going to the loo, my god you'd freeze like an icicle to the bog!!!! Money tomorrow = 1 bag of coal and paying for the bag the coalman graciously let us take before Christmas :) and getting on to the plumble

That reminds me, when I was in Japan there were toilets with thermal seats. It was the weirdest feeling ever, as if someone had been sitting there for a long time!

Did you have central heating during our big freeze a few years ago?

I did thank god. It wasn't very good central heating, but I will be greatful for the fact it was there, the pipes didn't freeze over then etc.

You were lucky so. No such freeze this year although I've heard some chilling things about the end of the month :/

I think I'll buy myself a new snuggie.. I wonder if they come in pink or purple. I had a red one and it was great.

Have had the song Cool Thing by Rascal Flatts on repeat for the past half hour. :D

Need a new battery for my phone quick. The one I'm using has swelled.. I ordered one about 3 weeks ago, I hope it comes soon.. :o

    Hope everyone is well. :)

    Evening ye'all. :) How's everyone today? :)

Had the last of my mammy's croquettes today. They are yummy delicious. Stove thingy on for the last while far too hot now and getting too lazy to move to go back to me own houseen! There's not a thing on da telly either meh. :/ About 1, 000 feicin' channels. If there was anything good on typically one of the siblings would probably be in here taking over the remote control lol!

Fair play to all who worked over silly-season hehe! :D Actually I was in "My Dunnes" in Galway this morning, - the Branch Store that I worked in when I first started out working and it made me so sad! We used to have great craic working with each other in our time there, but the place seemed so bereft or something now anymore anytime I go into it, there was 3 Foreigners working on the floor, and 2 middle-aged females but no youngsters having a laugh with each other like there used to be, just formal workers, would love to go back to that time for a while. :) May have only been a measly part-time job, but was a bitta craic and brought a sense of fun rather than the usual hum-drum dull monotony of things. :/

Is anyone gonna leave their tree up till next year?!:D
