I don't like the Patriots, but I have to say I am a big fan of Woodhead.

This is still alive, but only just. You'd have to think any points or a lengthy drive would bury it as a contest.

Every time a new Superbowl favourite is declared this season it seems they shoot themselves in the foot.

What a difference the Hernandez int and Ridley's fumble are...

We are finally moving the ball, the second half game plan has been working. If we scored on that drive it would have been 24-10...but turnovers are so costly....massive hole, looking very unlikely now

I think it all square between Manning and Brady, but if AP breaks the record he should win it.

If he breaks the record AND the Vikes go to the playoffs. That's a must for MVP IMO.

I hate to say it, but Brady could well see a drop down the voting after tonight. Unless he leads a comeback, in which case he'll walk away with it.

I think there is a long way to go in this game...49ers will run the ball a lot now and the Pats stand a better chance of stopping them and the offense is moving the ball now....still a long shot

Can't turn the ball over this many times and win unfotunatley, the turnover count is so important in games, BB will be livid about it

Bill always says its the second most important stat after the score...so true

    This isn't over.

Anyone else take a cheeky wee punt when the pats were 40/1 right after the 49ers td.. I got a 73c bet in at 33s just for ****s and giggles and to even my account out.. If there's any team who could turn this over it is the Pats so worth a tiny little better for interest

Brady looks so out of sorts. Lucky not to be picked off again.

First big play of the night?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,499 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

On the bad throw by Brady there before the completion to Lloyd you just seen how fast he is at checking down in the replay. Its one of the things that makes him so great.

Surprised the 49ers aren't getting more pressure considering they know the Patriots will be passing - playing a little prevent/conservatively already? Could be their undoing.

    Game on the line here..

Ridley is having a stinker, all he had to do was drop his shoulder and drive hard and he was in, he hesitated a second and that was the end of it, shades of Maroney in that actually

Bring in Bolden for this one please.

Tom you handsome bastard, why not just do that on 2nd down ;)

    great in those situations.

Shame they let the game get away earlier on

Ah the old Brady sneak for the TD. I still don't think its gonna happen but at least they are making a go of it.

Amazing the 49ers were not even trying to defend it...everybody knew that was coming

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

49ers need to start passing the ball again...hopefully they dont

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Get the defence off the field here and I may start to believe its a ball game again

    Game on

This game has flipped on a ridiculous level. There is no doubt in my mind that the Pats will win.
